Symptoms
A freshly installed CS 4.6 site based on the XHTML Accessible Sample Site does not work properly
- Error messages when trying to access news links
- Editing template layout displays with the webitor toolbar in the right margin instead of above the webitor fields
- The site does not validate as XHTML 1.0 Transitional
Cause
An early version of the installation program contained a broken dump of the sample site that resulted in a site using an improper document type.
Resolution
Change the doctype setting for the site -
Right click on the site in the web tree, choose properties and activate the button "Doctype"
The proper setting is "XHTML 1.0 Transitional"
Status
The install program will be updated with a working dump of the XHTML Accessible Sample Site ASAP
